for the community

We believe that a company of our stature should be socially responsible within the communities in which it operates its business. That’s why our community programme is focused on education that will help people become more financially literate. Ultimately, we hope it will give them the ability to make effective financial decisions and plan for their future.

Our approach is simple:

To play an active role improving the communities in which we live and work

This could be anything from employee volunteering, schemes where our employees help children in local schools improve their reading or maths skills, through to providing grants for community projects .

To support group fundraising

HBOS, our partner group has set up the HBOS Foundation which is a charitable foundation to help support local communities throughout the UK. We aim to raise £500,000 through fundraising activities. This is matched £ for £ by the Foundation to bring the total to £1 million. This year’s charity is CLIC Sargant.
