New rules for Executive Pension Plan and Corporate Pension Account

Following the changes to the pensions tax regime that were introduced in 2006 we sent trustees some temporary rules for their plans. The new legislation has now been clarified and we're pleased to tell you that a complete set of new rules is now available. The new rules replace the temporary rules.

Trustees of Executive Pension Plans and Corporate Pension Accounts - What you need to do now

You need to download a copy of the rules for your records. Then you need to adopt them as the rules of your plan. To show you have done this, your principal employer must complete and sign an adopting resolution.

To help complete our example resolution see the guidance notes.

Please get your principal employer to return a completed resolution to us, as soon as possible.
