Clerical Medical's 36 new OEIC funds go live

Clerical Medical's range of 36 Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC) funds goes live on Monday January 19^th 2009. The range is also suitable for ISA investment for the first time. The funds form part of Clerical Medical Investment Solutions, announced last year¹. The range contains managed and single asset class solutions across three risk categories. It includes 18 new funds

Clerical Medical Investment Solutions
Clerical Medical Investment Solutions is more than just a fund range. It is a combination of rigorous governance – from a dedicated investment committee - and assistance with portfolio construction with a new portfolio modelling tool. There are seven members of the investment committee including Patrick Gale and Keith Jones, both well known in the IFA community.

Through the Investment Solutions range, Clerical Medical has increased its support to IFAs with portfolio construction, managing client value, meeting the needs of the regulator and creating business efficiency.

The new OEIC funds are available on Cofunds, the UK’s largest independent investment platform, from Monday January 19^th.
