Clerical Medical gets matter of fact to set IFAs up for success
As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthen relationships with IFAs, Clerical Medical has launched a new suite of reports and enhanced monitoring service via Clerical Medical Investment Solutions*.
Reports give IFAs the facts
A new suite of reports is now available to download via the 'Adviser zone' of the Clerical Medical website www.clericalmedical.co.uk. It covers a range of topics, from market and economic data to investment topics and themes. They will be an invaluable source of timely and relevant information for IFAs.
Key reports include:
Fund report: Bi-annual in-depth reports produced with input from the fund managers
Global report: Monthly report providing market and economic data, charts and commentary.
Focal Point report: Periodic report, focusing on interesting investment 'hot topics' or themes.
IFA magazine: be released periodically and will include contributions from the fund managers and general market commentary.
Fund Factsheets: The life and pensions range factsheets provide key performance figures and fund manager commentary on the funds.
Enhanced Monitoring Service via the Clerical Medical Investment Committee
The current Clerical Medical Investment committee** was formed in November 2008. The committee is tasked with closely monitoring the Clerical Medical fund range. Members will ensure the fund managers meet agreed performance targets within risk budgets.
As part of its transparent approach, the committee will publish a comprehensive summary of the discussions and actions from its monthly meetings. This will clearly demonstrate to IFAs that the fund selections they have made on behalf of their clients are being closely monitored and will deliver.
John Van Der Wielen, managing director at Clerical Medical said:
"We are committed to supporting our IFA partners. The reports are a source of timely and relevant market news. The Investment Committee minutes will demonstrate to IFAs that their funds are being closely monitored. The combination will set IFAs up for success by freeing up more of their time to spend servicing the needs of their clients."
